Neo Winter Workshops

Last Saturday we held our very first Intro to TML 1-Day Crash Course, and last night our most recent group of Neo-Futurism Master Class students participated in their final class with our Founding Director Greg Allen – but if you missed your chance to take these classes don’t fret, you still have time to sign up for our next two winter workshops…

Analog Processes: A Two Part Intensive
Wednesdays, December 12 & January 9, 7:00pm – 11:00 pm

You still have time to enroll in this class, based on the devising process used to create the up-coming Neo-Futurist Prime Time production, Analog, taught by creator Kurt Chiang and director Tif Harrison. But if you’re interested act soon, because it’s filling up fast.

Introduction to Too Much Light: 8 Week Workshop
Saturdays, January 5 – February 23, 11:00am – 2:00pm

Our popular 8 week introduction to the art of writing and performing a 2-minute play in the Too Much Light style returns this January, taught by Neo-Futurists Jay Torrence and Megan Mercier.

The class mimics the actual weekly process of TML, focusing on  techniques for generating ideas and showing you how to write, stage and perform your own scripts. It culminates in a student performance for an invited audience. Enrollment is open, sign up today!

You can do this, too.

Interested in taking a class? Our ensemble members teach Neo-Futurism throughout the year at our home space in Chicago. We can also come to you. Find out more about enrollment, hiring teachers, and scholarships.
