Neo-Summer School

Neo-Futurist Spring and Summer 2013 workshops update:

  • Registration for Neo-Futurism I with Greg Allen closes this Friday (April 5). Neo-Futurism I is an introduction to creating original work within the Neo-Futurist aesthetic. Students will learn to create original solo pieces in the Neo style from Founding Director, and creator of Too Much LightGreg Allen. The first class session is Saturday April 6 at 10:00am.

  • In Late May Introduction to Too Much Light returns, with Ensemble members Bilal Dardai and Trevor Dawkins teaching students how to write and perform a 2-minute TML style play. The workshop culminates in a student performance of 20 plays in 40 minutes for an invited audience. Registration opens this Friday, class begins May 29th and continues through July 17th.

  • Later this summer Greg will be back with Neo-Futurism II: Collaborative Creation, which builds on the work done in level I of Neo-Futurism, while shifting focus from solo work to work created collaboratively. Class begins July 6th and continues through August 24th. Check back soon for details about registration for Neo-Fut. II, and our fall class line-up.
