Contraption explores the intersection between invention and insanity by examining the lives and work of several of history's greatest inventors, and then presents them as a vaudeville-styled screwball-comedy science program. Through the live construction of a strange machine and the deconstruction of the play itself, Figures (A), (B), (C), and (D) will either determine what makes an inventor tick...or drive themselves crazy in the attempt.
