What Our Students Are Saying

“Performing on stage ended up being a lot of fun – especially for Whitney the Seeing Eye dog. She stole the show.”

AN ACCESSIBLE AND FREE WORKSHOP AT VICTORY GARDENS

Mondays, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
March 13th - May 1st
Class Performance - May 1st

Price: FREE

Classes will be held in the rehearsal room at Victory Gardens for the first five sessions and in the Richard Christensen Theater for the final three.

In this accessible 8-week introductory class, students will explore core Neo-Futurist tenets of honesty, brevity, chance and audience interaction in order to create and perform short plays in our unique, non-fiction aesthetic. The class will culminate in a public performance at Victory Gardens on May 1st as part of ‘Crip Slam’ in the Richard Christensen Theater.

Artists with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply, and will be given preference in acceptance into the workshop. (The class is open to everyone; however we will strive to maintain a majority of artists with disabilities in the class.)

Submissions for the class will close on March 6th and we’ll get back to you by March 8th at 5pm if you’ve been placed in the workshop.
