Kate Kiehfuss is a Chicago-based designer, technician, writer, and flower shop employee. She traveled from Northern California to attend Columbia College Chicago, where she graduated in May of 2021. During her time there, she seved as Lighting Designer for The Race (October 2020), A Man of No Importance (November 2019), Still, Now (Feburary 2019), Bug (November 2018), and Wolves (April 2018). Her favorite place to be is in front of a pottery wheel, hands wet with clay. When asked to pick between pancakes, waffles, and frech toast — she cannot choose. On any given day, from the hours of 10-4, you may find Kate struggling down Michigan Ave holding a gargantuan flower arrangement. If you do: please hold the lobby door open for her. She really appreciates it.
