Anablog: The Wise Man

You guys, finally, Analog is ready to take the stage! Previews are tonight and tomorrow night and then we open this Monday, March 4th. I watched a run this week and I have to tell you, it is strange and beautiful, personal and peculiar, and also: Kurt does a surprisingly good Jimmy Stewart impersonation. Seriously you should just come see it. That’s all there is to it.

But first another installment of Anablog, a series of blog posts introducing you to the artists of Analog. This week we hear from Hank Vogler, a wise man.

I’m agnostic on the subject.

What kinds of artistic experiences do you tend to enjoy the most?

The one’s that do a good job of conveying a sense of tragi-comic absurdity.

What turns you off big time?

The neo coffee-maker.*

What are you listening to right now? Reading? Watching? Eating? Drinking?

A cat scratching in the litter-box, this question, the screen of my lap-top, an apple, coffee.

Are you a righty or a lefty?

I am right handed.

Tell me something about yourself that would surprise me:

I have no idea what would surprise you.

*Editorial comment: since Hank answered these questions for us The Neos have aquired a newer, non-funky coffee maker thanks to none other than Analog director Tif Harrison. Thanks Tif!

You can do this, too.
