A Child’s History of Bombing
February 2, 2006 – March 11, 2006
Examining the bizarre, twisted history of “the rules of war,” this show takes a Neo-Futurist look at explosives, the advent of aerial bombing, terrorism, torture, and — those strangest of bedfellows — “military ethics.” Allen uses interviews with his uncle, a prominent physicist in the Manhattan Project, and the perspective of children affected by war to explore this dark legacy.
