Mary Kate Ashe is an inclusive artist, educator, and accessibility designer from Syracuse, NY. While in Chicago, she has worked as a director/AD/ASL translator/accessibility designer/stage manager/whatever else needed to be done for productions such as “You Are Happy” (The Edge Theater), “Little Red Cyrano”(Strawdog Theatre) and “R+J: The Vineyard” (Oracle Theatre & The Den).
She studied Deaf Studies/American Sign Language at Columbia College Chicago and Inclusive Early Childhood Education at Portland State University. She is a board member and facilitator for ABLE Ensemble and on the Accessibility Team for Chicago Humanities Festival.
