The Neo-Futurist Theater

Maya is an artist and early childhood educator at Green Bean Day School. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2019 with degrees in Theater and Performance Studies and South Asian Languages and Civilizations. She started working with the Neos and freelance scenic painting for various Chicago theaters in that same year. These days you can find her helping toddlers put on their shoes, drawing comics at her desk, and cooking with her roommates. She is so grateful to be back in the booth and working on a show again.
