2013 Neo Pride: Goodbye DOMA, hello Dyke March.

The Neos have written a lot of plays in opposition to DOMA and Prop 8 over the years. As of yesterday morning, they have all been retired. Permanently. (Shakes fist threateningly at old man Scalia.) That calls for a celebration.

As luck would have it, we have a celebration all planned – and we’ve written 11 brand spanking new plays for the occasion: Join us this weekend for our annual Pride themed edition of Too Much Light: 30 Queer Plays in 60 Straight Minutes.

Come to the 8:00pm Saturday benefit performance to get the added joy of knowing 100% of your ticket income will go directly to the UCAN LGBTQ Host Home Program, an innovative approach to moving Chicago’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth beyond life on the streets.

AND: don’t forget to come look for us at The 17th annual Chicago Dyke March, organized by The Dyke March Collective* Saturday afternoon, stepping off at 3pm, in Argyle!
